Film arahan sutradara kawakan George Miller (70 tahun) berjudul Mad Max: Fury Road, tampaknya bakal mendulang kesuksesan di ajang penghargaan bergengsi dari asosiasi kritikus film & televisi terbesar di Amerika yaitu Critics Choice Award 2016, setidaknya film yang sebelumnya berhasil mendapat penghargaan Best Film dari Nation Board Of Review tersebut telah mendapatkan 13 nominasi di ajang tersebut. Sebuah pencapaian luar biasa dari film ini dan karya yang fenomenal dari sang sineas.
