Inspired by the viral New York Magazine article, "Hustlers" follows a crew of savvy former strip-club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.

Ini menjadi ulasan saya yang tersingkat. Tidak habis pikir, apa yang mau dikomentari soal film Hustlers. Ini bukan soal filmnya. Film unik bertema striptis yang secara estetik begitu indah dengan teknik editingnya (perpaduan musik) serta performa apik para pemain utamanya, di-RUSAK oleh guntingan sensor dan “teknik” blur sepanjang film. Memang, kisahnya tidak terganggu tapi sensornya sangat mengganggu kenyamanan menonton. Sangat menyedihkan sekali. Film ini sudah memiliki rating 21+. Untuk apa ditayangkan di teater jika masih saja disensor demikian hebat?

Saya ingin mengutip kalimat brilian dari filmnya: “Dunia kita saat ini layaknya pertunjukan striptis. Ada yang menari dan ada yang melempar (memberi) uang”. Tak ada untungnya kita melempar uang untuk film ini. Tidak di sini.
