Bagi yang terkesan dengan film aksi thriller Baby Driver, kini pembuat film asal Korea Selatan mencoba untuk mengangkat tema serupa melalui Special Delivery (Teuksong). Hasilnya pun sama sekali tak buruk. Film aksi thriller produksi Korea Selatan ini diarahkan oleh Park Dae-min dengan bintang-bintang muda seperti, Park So-dam dan Jung Hyeon-jun yang kita kenal melalui film pemenang Oscar, Parasite, lalu Song Sae-byeok serta Kim Eui-sung. Special Delivery yang rilis di awal tahun ini tercatat hingga kini adalah film terlaris keempat di Korea Selatan.

Eun-ha (So-dam) adalah seorang sopir perempuan handal yang tugasnya mengirim barang atau orang, dari satu lokasi ke lokasi lainnya. Ia tidak pernah sekalipun gagal menjalankan tugasnya. Suatu hari, seperti rutinitas biasanya, ia mendapat tugas untuk menjemput klien dan mengantarnya ke satu lokasi. Di luar dugaan, semuanya berubah ketika klien tersebut ternyata adalah seorang bocah (Hyeon-jun) yang diburu satu kelompok gangster. Bocah tersebut ternyata membawa satu kunci brankas yang berisi uang jutaan dollar. Aksi kejar-mengejar pun dimulai.

Opening segmennya yang demikian menghibur sudah pasti bakal membuat penonton terkesan. Aksi kejar-mengejar mobilnya, tak kalah dengan film-film produksi Hollywood. Untuk urusan teknis, film-film Korea kini sudah sebelas duabelas dengan film Hollywood. Premisnya yang demikian menjanjikan sayangnya tak cukup kuat diolah untuk menjaga intensitas ketegangannya hingga klimaks. Terdapat satu-dua momen yang terkesan membuang waktu di sela-sela aksinya dan justru membuat alurnya mudah ditebak. Adapun selipan subplot yang berisi isu polisi korup, aksi “pembelotan” (Korea Utara), hingga chemistry antara Eun-ha dan Seo-Won menjadi gimmick yang menarik. Ending-nya pun sangat memuaskan penonton.

Special Delivery adalah “Baby Driver” versi Korea dengan beberapa momen aksi serta sisi thriller yang mengesankan. Pencapaian teknisnya dari sisi mana pun, baik kamera, editing, musik, sudah sangat mapan. Sejauh ini, film ini memiliki salah satu car chase-scene terbaik di luar film Hollywood. Dengan kisah yang lebih solid lagi, rasanya tinggal menunggu waktu sinema mainstream Korea Selatan sejajar dengan Hollywood.
