When smart but cash-strapped teen Ellie Chu agrees to write a love letter for a jock, she doesn't expect to become his friend - or fall for his crush.

The Half of It adalah film roman komedi remaja arahan Alice Wu yang sekaligus juga menulis naskahnya. The Half of It mampu melakukannya dengan cara yang berkelas.

Tak disangka, The Half of it, sejauh ini adalah film terbaik tahun ini. Ekspektasi penonton dipermainkan. The Half of It tidak terjebak dalam sebuah kisah cinta yang klise, namun mencoba memaknai “cinta” lebih dalam lagi.

The Half of It mencoba meredefinisi cinta melalui caranya yang berkelas, cerdas, puitik, nan estetik. Selamat menonton!
